Public affairs analyst and former Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), Sam Amadi, has said he does not blame Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, for defecting from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Naija News reports that Mbah, during a state-wide broadcast to the people of the state, said the move was necessitated to connect the South-Eastern state to the central government.
In a post via 𝕏, Amadi said PDP destroyed itself because of its dependence on the financial influence of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.
However, Amadi said the APC remains the best-organised and most sensible political party in the country, but its presidential candidate is bad.
He added that the Labour Party (LP)’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, remains the best person to save Nigeria, but questioned which platform the former Governor of Anambra State would contest for the next election.
He said, “I do not blame Peter Mba for dumping @OfficialPDPNig for the @OfficialAPCNg. The PDP destroyed itself by love of Wike’s money.
“APC is d best organized & sensible party. But it has bad presidential candidate. @PeterObi is the best guy to save Nigeria now. But which party now.”
