It looks like Jessica Jones could be making a big comeback. More than five years after her Netflix series ended, Krysten Ritter’s tough, super-powered private investigator might soon return in a new Marvel project.

According to Marvel TV boss Brad Winderbaum, there’s a strong chance we’ll be seeing more of Jessica Jones very soon.

Ritter is already set to appear in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, which will be released on Disney+ in March 2026. That show’s success has reignited fan hopes for a new series centered on her character.

During an interview on the Phase Hero podcast, Marvel Studios’ Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation Brad Winderbaum teased that Ritter’s return could come sooner than expected. When host Brandon Davis asked about the idea of a Jessica Jones: Born Again series, Winderbaum replied, “Maybe sooner than you think.”

Krysten Ritter also hinted that there’s more in store for her character. She said she has always felt there were still things left to explore with Jessica Jones. “There’s a lot of stuff that I’ve felt there was room to explore, and Brad and I talked about it. And I am not going to say any of it, because we’re going to be doing it,” Ritter said.

While Marvel has not officially confirmed a new Jessica Jones show, both Winderbaum’s and Ritter’s comments have fans excited. Given how well Daredevil: Born Again has been received, it wouldn’t be surprising if Marvel decided to bring Jessica Jones back with her own series.

Ritter’s next appearance as Jessica Jones will be in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, which follows Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) as he teams up with other heroes to face off against Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk, now the mayor of New York City.

Bringing Jessica Jones back is a smart move. The character is one of the most interesting in the Marvel TV world, and Krysten Ritter’s performance was a big part of what made her show stand out. What do you think about Jessica Jones possibly returning to the MCU? Share your thoughts in the comments.
