Nigerian singer Oludipe David, popularly known as Spyro, has expressed appreciation to his fiancée, Janet Atom, for transforming his life and helping him avoid what he described as distractions from women in Lekki.
Naija News reports that on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, the singer shared a video on Instagram showing him affectionately spending time with Janet, where he kissed her and celebrated their bond.
He wrote; “Eii GoD. My very own Jesus baddie. Thank you again for saving me from Lekki girls o, na me know wetin my eyes see.”
Spyro previously shared that he met Janet in March 2024 at a club in Lagos, a casual encounter that later developed into a serious relationship.
Their friendship eventually led to an engagement, which the singer described as one of the best decisions of his life.
In other news, Spyro has recalled how his father was strict with him and often resorted to negative utterances while correcting him, which had a lasting impact on his childhood.
Naija News reports that Spyro, in a candid interview with veteran media personality, Frank Edoho, also opened up about his struggle with the fear of failure.
The ‘Who Is Your Guy’ crooner stated that his father made him internalise fear and began accepting that he was a failure at some point.
