Megan Fox is officially joining the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise.
According to Universal and Blumhouse, she will voice Toy Chica in the upcoming sequel, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, which is set to hit theaters on December 5.
The film continues the story of the haunted family restaurant, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, where the animatronic mascots have a terrifying secret. Emma Tammi, who directed the first movie, is returning to direct the sequel. Josh Hutcherson, who starred in the original film, will also be back along with Matthew Lillard, Elizabeth Lail, and Piper Rubio.

New cast members joining Fox include MatPat, who will voice Toy Bonnie, and Kellen Goff as Toy Freddy. Universal shared a chilling new tagline for the movie: “Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second chances.”
The first Five Nights at Freddy’s movie, based on Scott Cawthon’s popular video game series, became a hit when it was released in 2023. The story followed Hutcherson’s character, a night guard who discovers that the restaurant’s animatronics come to life, and kill after dark.
This sequel will once again be based on Cawthon’s game series, with the writer himself returning to work on the script. Blumhouse confirmed that production for the sequel started in November 2024 and wrapped up in February. New cast additions also include Skeet Ulrich, Wayne Knight, Mckenna Grace, and Teo Briones.
Cawthon had hinted back in 2018 that a second film could happen if the first was a success. After the original movie’s strong box office performance, Josh Hutcherson confirmed early in 2024 that a sequel was being developed. Blumhouse made the official announcement a few months later.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 will be released in U.S. theaters by Universal Pictures on December 5.
Megan Fox voicing Toy Chica sounds like a great fit for the creepy and chaotic world of Five Nights at Freddy’s. The first movie was a surprise hit, and the sequel seems to be building on that momentum with a strong cast and returning team. Fans of the games and the original film will likely be excited to see what fresh horrors are in store.
