Kim Kardashian appeared on the popular Call Her Daddy podcast hosted by Alex Cooper this week. The popular model and influencer opened up about multiple aspects of her life, including her career and her controversial marriage to Kanye West.

On October 15, the Call Her Daddy episode featuring Kim Kardashian dropped on social media. This marked her first appearance on the podcast and the second time a Kardashian appeared on it, after her sister Khloe Kardashian's episode in April this year.

In her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast on October 15, Kim Kardashian opened up about her decade-long relationship with rapper Kanye West. The couple tied the knot back in 2014 and remained married for around eight years before their divorce in November 2022. Speaking of the marriage, Kardashian said:

"People can say that there was, like, signs and maybe I didn't wasn't paying attention to them. And I think when someone has, like, their first, like, mental break, you know, you wanna be super supportive and you wanna, like, help figure that out and you wanna really get into that with them and and be there for them."

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West share four children - North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. The SKIMS founder opened up about co-parenting with her ex husband, and added:

"It makes it really hard to continue on in a relationship that can be toxic. When you have kids, it's definitely harder to leave than it is to stay. And it changes everyone's life forever."

She continued:

"Once my mental health starts to get affected and then I can't parent the way that I need to and I can't be present and focused, then there's gotta be one of us that can. And I had to save myself in order to be a better mom for everyone. And I think, like, when everyone's older, they'll be able to understand it and see that all."

Kim Kardashian also claimed that Kanye West's unexpected financial decisions, his speaking about her mother, Kris Jenner, and her sisters in public, and constantly hampering her and her children's safety, became a breaking point in their marriage. The influencer recalled not feeling safe "physically, emotionally or financially" with West, adding that the rapper gave away their cars to his friends as well.

"I would like come home, and we had like five Lamborghinis and I'd come home and they'd all be gone if he was in an episode. And I'd be like, 'Oh, wait. Where's all our cars? Like, my new car?' And it would be like, oh, he gave them away to all of his friends."

However, Kardashian noted that she does "regret" being in a relationship with Kanye West, as it was an "over a decade relationship" with "four beautiful children" and not a "failure." She also recalled how her 12-year-old eldest daughter, North West, has been urging her to have a boyfriend as she's getting "too old."
