South Carolina police  have arrested two women who allegedly killed a dog on Friday.

Union County police received a call about a dog being set on fire in Buffalo. Police determined that Cassidi Hyatt, 26, and Jada Rogers, 28, poured gasoline on the dog and lit it ablaze — killing it, according to WHNS.

It is unclear who the dog belonged to or what prompted the women to set the dog on fire.

Arrested two days after the incident, Hyatt and Rogers are charged with ill treatment of animals/torture. Their bonds were set at $10,000.
