Newly unsealed documents reveal that Bryan Kohberger’s sister was on the prosecution’s witness list had the case gone to trial earlier this year.

Amanda Kohberger was also on her brother’s witness list, PEOPLE reported.

She was the only member of the Kohberger family on the prosecution list for testimony during the guilt phase of the trial, the publication said.

Kohberger pleaded guilty to the murders of Xana Kernodle, Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves and was sentenced to four life sentences, avoiding the death penalty, as CrimeOnline reported.

The only members of victims’ immediate families on the prosecution’s list were Chapin’s triplet siblings, Hunter and Mazie Chapin, who were also students at the University of Idaho and were at the scene on the morning the bodies were discovered, PEOPLE said.

Amanda Kohberger was also on the list of potential witnesses during the mitigation phase of the trial, which would have followed a guilty verdict. Her sister, Melissa, and their parents, Michael and Maryann Kohberger, were also on that list.
